Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Marston, Missouri

St John Condos helps couples from Marston, Missouri plan a quiet island getaway, with villas at the Westin St John Resort on St. John rented by the week and a local team ready to answer questions before you book.

Marston sits in the heart of the Midwest, where winters are cold and gray for much of the year. For a couple from this part of Missouri, a stretch of warm Caribbean air can feel like a true change of pace. St. John is small, green, and unhurried, which suits two people who want time together more than a packed itinerary. Many couples like to think of the trip as a shared project from the start. You can talk through what each of you hopes to get from the week, whether that is long mornings with coffee, quiet afternoons by the water, or simply a break from routine. A villa gives you room to set your own rhythm, and the Westin St John Resort gives you a home base on the island. Our team can help you sort out what fits best before anything is booked.

Planning a couples trip from Marston

  1. Getting from the area. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. It is a simple sequence once you know it, and it becomes part of the fun. Plan for a relaxed pace on arrival day, and keep your travel documents and a light bag within easy reach for the ferry.
  2. Choosing when to go. Winter in Missouri is the season many couples are eager to leave behind, so the islands often feel most appealing then. Think about whether you prefer the busier winter weeks or the quieter stretches of the year. Your own calendar, any anniversary or milestone you want to mark, and how much rain or heat you enjoy should all shape the choice.
  3. Planning the stay. Because villas are rented by the week, you can settle in and stop watching the clock. Decide early whether you want a few planned outings or mostly unscheduled days. Remember that St. John drives on the left, so take a moment to adjust before getting behind the wheel. Share the planning so each of you has a say in how the week unfolds.
