Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Amity, Missouri
St John Condos rents villas at the Westin St John Resort for travelers from Amity, Missouri, who want a shared trip for three generations. Our local team answers questions before you book.
Amity sits in the Midwest, where the summers are warm and humid and the winters are cold. For a family spanning three generations, a trip to St. John offers a welcome change of pace. The island has a relaxed rhythm, and a villa gives everyone room to spread out, whether that means a quiet morning for grandparents, a lively afternoon for the younger children, or an evening meal that brings the whole group together. Planning for mixed ages takes a little extra thought. Grandparents may prefer a slower pace and easy access to shade, while teenagers often want more freedom to explore. A villa rented by the week lets each generation keep its own routines while still sharing a table. Many families from Missouri find that setting a loose daily plan, with plenty of unscheduled time, keeps everyone content and avoids the strain that comes with a packed itinerary.

Getting from Amity to St. John
- Reach St. Thomas first. Most visitors from Amity fly into St. Thomas, using the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan this sequence with the whole group in mind, since luggage, car seats, and mobility needs all affect how smoothly the transfers go. Our team can talk you through each stage before you commit to dates.
- Pick the right season. Missouri winters are cold, so many families from Amity choose to leave during the colder months when the island feels especially inviting. Consider when school calendars, family birthdays, and the comfort of older relatives line up best. Travel schedules can shift, so ask us about what to expect before you finalize your plans. A calm, well-timed departure makes the whole trip feel easier for every generation.
- Plan the stay together. Once you have a villa in mind, gather input from every family member about what matters most. Some will want quiet mornings, others will want to stay active, and everyone will appreciate a few shared meals. Remember that St. John drives on the left, so younger drivers should take that into account when renting a vehicle. Our team at St John Condos can help you match the right villa to your group's needs.
Frequently asked questions
Is a villa a good choice for three generations traveling together from Amity?
Many families find a villa works well for multigenerational trips because everyone gets private space and shared common areas. Grandparents can rest in quieter rooms while younger family members enjoy more activity. A villa rented by the week also means you can cook meals together, which often becomes a favorite part of the trip. Our team can help you choose a layout that suits your group.
Will the trip include anything related to a commercial autonomous floor scrubber?
St John Condos rents villas and helps with travel planning, so commercial autonomous floor scrubber equipment is not part of the rental itself.
