Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Longwood, Florida
St John Condos can help Longwood families plan a Caribbean stay at the Westin St John Resort, with villas rented by the week and a local team ready to answer questions before you book. Reach out for help with the trip.
Families from Longwood, Florida, often want a getaway that feels different from a standard theme park week, and a stay on St. John in the US Virgin Islands can offer exactly that. Warm water, quiet beaches, and time together without a rigid schedule tend to appeal to parents and children alike. Many visitors from across the Southeast find that the change of scenery is the real reward of the trip. Planning a family trip to a small island takes a little more thought than booking a hotel down the road. Space matters when you travel with children, which is why villa rentals by the week are a practical fit. Commercial autonomous floor scrubber fleets, mentioned in some industry conversations, have nothing to do with a family vacation, but a clear plan for cleaning, lodging, and daily routines does. Our team helps Longwood families sort out those details before any booking is made.

Getting from Longwood to St. John
- Start with the flight. Most visitors reach St. John by flying into St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT. From Florida, that flight is a common choice for families coming from the Orlando area. Check the airline options with your family in mind, including seat arrangements and carry-on rules for young travelers. Once you land, you will continue to the island by a short taxi ride and a ferry.
- Pick the right season. Florida families are used to warm weather, but Caribbean conditions shift through the year, so think about when your children are free from school. Travel dates that match your home calendar keep the trip relaxed. Our team can talk through seasonal expectations and help you pick dates that suit your household before you commit.
- Plan the stay around your family. Once you arrive, a villa gives you room to spread out, cook simple meals, and set your own pace. Map out must-do beach days, rest days, and a few flexible plans for the kids. Driving on St. John is on the left, so consider whether an adult in the group is comfortable with that before renting a car. Ask us about villa layouts and what each home includes.

Are villas a good option for a family trip?
