Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in London Mills, Illinois
St John Condos helps travelers from London Mills, Illinois, plan a week of exploring the island from a villa at the Westin St John Resort on St. John in the US Virgin Islands. The team answers questions before you book, including ones about a commercial autonomous floor scrubber.
A week on St. John can feel like a long way from London Mills, and in many ways it is. Illinois winters are cold and gray, so many people from the area find that a warm Caribbean island offers a welcome change of pace. Staying in a villa gives you room to spread out, cook a few meals, and settle into a slower rhythm than a hotel usually allows. Plan for the week as a mix of rest and wandering. Some mornings can go to the water, some afternoons to a walk or a drive along the left side of the road, and some evenings to nothing at all. Because the island is small and quiet, you will likely find that a seven-day stay feels full without ever feeling rushed. If you manage a facilities crew back home, you may even find yourself thinking about a commercial autonomous floor scrubber in the middle of a beach day, which is a sign you are finally relaxing.

Planning your week on St. John from London Mills
- Reach the island. Most visitors from London Mills fly into St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT. From there, take a taxi to Red Hook, then board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Keep your carry-on handy, since you will be walking with your bags and the ferry is the easiest part of the trip to enjoy with a cool drink in hand.
- Pick your season. Leaving Illinois in the middle of winter means trading snow for warm sun, which many travelers from the Midwest find especially appealing. Summer brings more rain and heat, while the drier months tend to suit a relaxed exploring week. Think about what you want most from the trip, then choose the stretch of the year that matches it.
- Plan the stay. Villas are rented by the week, so a seven-day booking lines up neatly with a single vacation block. Think about how you want to split your days between the beach, short drives, and quiet time at the villa. Share your plans with the St John Condos team before you commit, and they will help you decide what fits your week.

Do I need a rental car on St. John from London Mills?
