Planning your trip from Eldridge

  1. Getting to St. John. Most visitors from Eldridge fly to St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT, then take a taxi to Red Hook and the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. The crossing is short and scenic. Once you land on St. John, remember that driving is on the left side of the road, so take a moment to adjust before you head out with your partner.
  2. Choosing when to go. Iowa winters are cold, so many couples from Eldridge look forward to the warm Caribbean climate during the colder months. Think about what kind of trip you want, whether that is calm and quiet or a little more lively. Tell the St John Condos team what matters most to you, and they will help you weigh the options before you pick your dates.
  3. Planning your stay. Start by deciding how long you want to stay and what you hope to do together. Reserve your villa early, and ask about the amenities, the layout and the setting. A commercial autonomous floor scrubber is not something you need to think about on vacation, but the cleanliness of your villa is. Ask the team how housekeeping is handled so you can relax completely.
