Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Craig, Missouri

St John Condos rents villas at the Westin St John Resort for travelers from Craig, Missouri, planning a long-awaited island splurge. Our local team can answer your questions before you book, from the flight into St. Thomas to the days you spend on St. John.

For many people in Craig, Missouri, a trip to the Caribbean has been something to talk about for years before it ever reaches the calendar. You live in the Midwest, where winters can be long and gray, so a stretch of warm, bright days on a Caribbean island can feel like a reward you earned. Planning a splurge like this means thinking carefully about the details, and that is the work we are glad to help with. The Westin St John Resort sits on St. John, one of the US Virgin Islands, and our villas there are rented by the week. Many guests choose a villa because it gives them room to spread out, cook a few meals, and settle into a slower rhythm than a hotel usually allows. Whether this is an anniversary, a milestone birthday, or simply the trip you have been saving for, we want the planning to feel as unhurried as the vacation itself.

Getting from Craig to St. John

  1. Reaching the islands. Most visitors from the Midwest fly to St. Thomas, whose airport code is STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, the passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan a little breathing room between your connections so a delay does not turn the first evening into a scramble. Keep your travel documents within reach, and expect a relaxed pace once you step off the boat.
  2. Picking your departure window. Think about the season before you commit to dates. Leaving Missouri in the colder months can make the warm Caribbean feel especially welcome, while other times of year bring their own pleasures. Consider school calendars, work obligations, and the weather back home. Our team can talk through what different seasons feel like on the island so you can choose the stretch that suits your splurge.
  3. Planning the stay. Once your dates are set, think about how you want your days to unfold. Decide whether you want the villa to be a base for quiet mornings, long lunches, and spontaneous outings. Make a short list of things you care about most, and let the rest stay open. Driving on St. John happens on the left, which is worth remembering before you take the wheel. Ask us anything before you book, and we will answer plainly.

Do I need to rent a car on St. John?
