St John Condos rents villas at the Westin St John Resort for families traveling from Biehle, Missouri, and our local team can answer your questions before you book. Plan the trip around your household, your days off, and the pace you want on the island.
Families from Biehle, Missouri often arrive at a vacation with a long list of needs: rooms that fit everyone, a place to unwind after the drive to the airport, and some quiet time for the adults. A villa at the Westin St John Resort gives you separate space to spread out, with room for the kids to play and for you to read on a porch without rushing to the next plan. Because the Midwest is far from the Caribbean, many families from this part of the country treat the trip as a true break from winter rather than a short weekend. You can settle into a slower rhythm, cook a few meals in, and let the week stretch out. Our team is glad to talk through what your group needs before you commit to dates.

Getting to St. John from Biehle
- Start with the flight. Most visitors reach St. John by flying into St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT. From there you take a taxi to Red Hook and then the passenger ferry across to Cruz Bay. Families from Biehle often find it helpful to book the outbound and return flights together so the whole group travels on matching plans, and to pack a small bag of essentials for the children in case luggage arrives later.
- Pick the season that suits you. Missouri winters are cold, so many families from the Midwest choose to leave during the coldest months when the islands offer the most welcome contrast. Others prefer the calmer shoulder seasons for fewer crowds and a gentler pace. Think about school calendars, work schedules, and the weather you want to escape, then talk with our team about which weeks fit your family best.
- Plan the stay with care. Villas are rented by the week, so decide early how many bedrooms you need and whether you want a rental car. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left side of the road, which takes some getting used to. Sketch a loose plan for beach days, slow mornings, and time together, and leave room for spontaneous outings. Ask us anything before you book so the stay matches your family.
