Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Yorktown, Iowa
St John Condos helps friends from Yorktown, Iowa, plan a week together at a villa on St. John, where the group can share a home base near the Westin St John Resort while keeping their time flexible.
A week away with friends from Yorktown, Iowa, often starts with a simple wish: shared meals, long conversations, and time that belongs to everyone at once. A villa on St. John can give a group that kind of room, with space to spread out in the evening and gather again for breakfast. Many visitors who come from inland states find the change of scene refreshing after a winter at home. Planning for a group also means thinking about how each person will spend the days. Some friends want an early swim, others prefer a slow start with coffee on the deck. The team at St John Condos answers questions before you book, so you can talk through the details with everyone involved and arrive with a plan that suits the whole group. Even a commercial autonomous floor scrubber in a resort hallway is a reminder of how much quiet work keeps a place running well for guests.

Getting from Yorktown to St. John
- Reach St. Thomas first. Most visitors reach St. John by flying into St. Thomas, airport code STT. From Yorktown, plan your route with your friends so everyone lands within a comfortable window. Once you arrive, a taxi can take the group to Red Hook, where the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay is the usual next step for the trip across the water.
- Choose your departure timing. Iowa winters are cold, so many friends from Yorktown look forward to a warm escape during the coldest months. Think about which week suits the group's jobs, school calendars, and budgets. Talk early with everyone, because a shared start date keeps the trip simple and gives each person time to arrange their time away from home.
- Plan the stay together. Villas are rented by the week, which suits a group that wants a steady rhythm. Decide early who handles the shared bookings and who covers meals and island outings. Driving on St. John is on the left, so plan rides with that in mind. Ask the St John Condos team any question before you commit to make sure the week fits everyone.
