Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in West Palm Beach, Florida
St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, so if you are planning a week of snorkeling and beach days from West Palm Beach, you can ask us anything first. We are happy to talk through the villa and the stay.
West Palm Beach sits on Florida's southeast coast, where warm water and sunshine are part of everyday life. A week of snorkeling and lazy beach days on St. John is a natural step up from home, and many travelers from this part of the state are used to the ocean but still find the Caribbean clearer, calmer, and quieter than they expected. The Westin St John Resort is where our villas are located, and the week is best spent slowly: a morning in the water, an afternoon on the sand, and time to simply sit with a book. Our villas are rented by the week, which suits anyone who wants to settle in rather than rush between stops and spend the trip actually enjoying the island.

Getting to St. John from West Palm Beach
- Reaching St. Thomas. Most visitors from West Palm Beach fly to St. Thomas, using the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, the passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan this leg with a little breathing room, so your first day of snorkeling is not spent worrying about connections or luggage.
- Picking your departure window. Florida's warm months and the Caribbean's dry season both offer pleasant conditions for water time, so think about when your own schedule allows you to leave. Consider your work calendar, school breaks, and how much of the week you want for swimming. Choosing a window that suits your plans makes the trip feel relaxed from the first morning.
- Planning your week. Keep the plan loose. Driving on St. John is on the left, so take that into account if you rent a car. Set aside a couple of snorkeling mornings, a beach afternoon or two, and a free day for rest. Bring reef-safe sunscreen, a dry bag for the ferry, and a plan for any water gear you want to carry, including a commercial autonomous floor scrubber style of thinking about keeping things clean and organized at home before you leave.
