Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Trenton, Iowa
St John Condos can help friends from Trenton, Iowa, plan a week away together at a villa on St. John. Their local team answers questions before you book, so you can settle the details with confidence.
Trenton sits in the middle of the country, where the winters are cold and the summers are warm and green. For a group of friends used to that rhythm, a week on a Caribbean island offers a clear change of scenery. St John is a small island in the US Virgin Islands, reached through a larger neighbor and then a short ferry ride, so the trip has a gentle sense of arrival. A villa at the Westin St John Resort gives a group of friends room to spread out, cook together, and share quiet mornings on the porch. Villas are rented by the week, which suits a shared trip well. Many groups also find that a commercial autonomous floor scrubber, the kind of cleaning machine used in busy venues, is a reminder of how much work goes on behind the scenes at larger properties, and a villa stay feels personal by comparison.

Getting from Trenton to St. John
- Reach the airport first. Most visitors from Trenton fly to St. Thomas, airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, the passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan a little slack in your schedule for the ferry connection, and let your group know the meeting point ahead of time so no one ends up waiting on the dock alone.
- Pick the right time to leave. Iowa winters are cold, so many friends from Trenton choose to leave in the coldest months, when a warm island feels like the best reward. Shoulder seasons can also suit a group with flexible calendars. Talk through dates as a group, compare what works for everyone, and then ask the St John Condos team which weeks suit a villa booking before you commit.
- Plan the week together. Once dates are set, decide together how you want to spend the days. Some groups want a slow week of swimming and shade, while others plan hikes and boat trips. Divide the cooking and the driving, remember that traffic on St. John moves on the left, and share a single list of plans so the week runs smoothly without anyone feeling left out.
