Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in St. Benedict, Iowa
St John Condos can help friends from St. Benedict, Iowa, plan a week together in a villa at the Westin St John Resort on St. John, sorting out the trip before anyone books.
A week away with friends from St. Benedict, Iowa, often starts with a simple idea and a lot of shared opinions about what to do first. Some in the group want quiet mornings and long lunches, while others want to explore every corner of the island. A villa at the Westin St John Resort gives everyone room to split up and regroup, with a shared kitchen and space to gather at the end of the day. Iowa winters are cold, so many travelers from the state are glad to step into warm Caribbean weather. Planning matters more when a group is traveling together, because one person's flight choice can shape everyone else's schedule. Before anyone commits, it helps to agree on dates, a budget range, and how much time you want to spend on the water versus under a shade tree. St John Condos is a local team that answers these questions before you book, so you can ask about villa layouts, how the week is usually rented, and what suits a group of friends. The goal is a trip that feels relaxed for all of you.

Getting your St. Benedict group to St. John
- Reaching the islands. Most visitors reach St. John by flying into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT. From there, a taxi carries your group to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Ask your friends to share contact details and flight plans early, so pickups are simple. Keep in mind that driving on St. John is on the left, so anyone planning to drive should be ready for that adjustment.
- Choosing when to leave Iowa. Iowa winters are cold, and many groups from St. Benedict prefer to leave during the coldest months. Think about which dates work for everyone's jobs, school calendars, and family plans. Some friends may need to travel later or return earlier, so agree on a shared window before looking at options. A week away with friends is easier to arrange when the dates are clear and everyone has told the group what they can and cannot manage.
- Planning the stay together. Villas at the resort are rented by the week, which suits a group that wants to settle in rather than move each day. Divide tasks like groceries, meals, and transport so no one feels left out. Talk through shared spending, quiet time, and who wants to join planned outings. A short planning call before departure helps keep the week friendly, and St John Condos can answer questions about the villa so your group arrives knowing what to expect.
