Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Silver Springs Shores, Florida

St John Condos can help couples from Silver Springs Shores plan a quiet island stay at the Westin St John Resort, with villas rented by the week and a local team ready to answer questions before you book.

Silver Springs Shores sits in Florida, in the Southeast, and many couples who live there already know the feeling of wanting a change of scenery with someone they love. St. John, in the US Virgin Islands, offers that change in a quiet, unhurried form. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, then take a taxi to Red Hook and the passenger ferry across to Cruz Bay, which makes the trip feel like a small adventure in itself. Staying in a villa at the Westin St John Resort gives a couple room to set their own pace. Mornings can be slow, afternoons can be spent however you like, and evenings can stretch out without a schedule. If you are planning a commercial autonomous floor scrubber kind of routine back home, this is the opposite: a week where someone else keeps the floors and you keep the calendar open.

Planning your trip from Silver Springs Shores

  1. Getting to St. John. Most travelers from Silver Springs Shores start with a flight into St. Thomas, which carries the airport code STT. From there, a taxi takes you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. Keep your bags light for the ferry, and let your villa team know your arrival details so everything is ready when you step off the boat together.
  2. Choosing when to go. Florida winters are mild, so some couples prefer the warm months on the islands for a change of pace, while others enjoy the quieter stretches away from home. Think about what kind of week you want. If you value calm over crowds, pick a window that suits your schedule, and ask the St John Condos team which weeks tend to feel most relaxed before you commit.
  3. Planning the stay. Villas are rented by the week, so choose the length that fits your time together. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left side of the road, which takes a little getting used to. Plan a few anchor moments for your stay, such as a sunset dinner or a slow morning, and leave the rest open so the week can unfold between the two of you.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to rent a car from Silver Springs Shores before we leave?

You can arrange transportation once you reach the islands, and many couples prefer to rely on taxis and walking. If you do want your own vehicle on St. John, remember that driving is on the left. Your St John Condos contact can explain the options so you can decide what suits the two of you best before you book.

Is a villa a good choice for a couple who wants privacy?

Villas give couples more space and quiet than a standard hotel room, with room to relax together at your own pace. Because they are rented by the week, you can settle in and stop thinking about check-in routines. Ask the St John Condos team about the layout and setting before you book so you know what to expect.
