Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Perry, Florida
St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, and they help families from Perry, Florida plan a villa stay for three generations at the Westin St John Resort on St. John.
Traveling with grandparents, parents, and children at the same time takes a little more planning than a typical trip, and that is where a shared villa can make the difference. For families leaving Perry, Florida, a villa gives everyone room to spread out, cook a meal together, and still gather on the porch at the end of the day. Each villa is rented by the week, so the pace can be unhurried, with space for quiet mornings and shared afternoons. The Westin St John Resort sits on St. John in the US Virgin Islands, an island that feels very different from the Florida Panhandle yet is still an easy place for a family to settle into. The weather is warm and steady year round, which suits older travelers and young children alike. Because St. John is a small island, most plans stay simple, and the rhythm of the stay is set by the people you travel with.

Planning a three generation trip from Perry
- Getting to St. John. Most visitors reach St. John by flying into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT. From there, a taxi carries you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. With grandparents and young children, it helps to keep bags light and to confirm ahead of time who is carrying what. Driving on St. John is on the left, so if you plan to rent a car, the team can point you toward options that suit a mixed group.
- Choosing when to leave. Florida families can pick their departure based on school calendars, work schedules, and the comfort of the oldest travelers in the group. The islands are warm in every season, so the choice often comes down to what suits the household rather than the weather. Talk through the dates as a family early, since a shared calendar makes it easier to line up three generations. The St John Condos team can help you think through timing before you commit.
- Planning the stay together. A villa stay works best when each generation has a say in how the days are spent. Decide together which meals you will cook at the villa and which you would rather enjoy out, and set aside some unscheduled time for rest. Because villas are rented by the week, you can build in slower days without feeling rushed. Share your group's needs, such as mobility or dietary preferences, with the St John Condos team so the villa you choose fits everyone.
