Getting from Moore Haven to St. John

1. Reach St. Thomas first. Most visitors from Florida fly into St. Thomas, which is the usual gateway to St. John. Coordinate arrival times within your group so everyone lands close together. From the airport, a taxi will take you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. Keeping luggage manageable helps when the whole group is moving at once.
2. Pick your departure timing. Think about when your crew can realistically leave Florida, since school schedules, work commitments, and shared travel plans all play a part. Traveling as a group often works best when everyone agrees on one departure window. Our team can help you compare options so the trip begins smoothly for all of you, without anyone feeling rushed or left behind.
3. Plan the stay together. Once you arrive, a villa gives your group room to spread out, cook meals, and set your own pace each day. Decide early who handles groceries, who drives, and how shared costs will be split. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left, which may take a moment to get used to. Settling these details at the start keeps the week relaxed.
