Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Kelley, Iowa

St John Condos can help couples from Kelley, Iowa, plan a quiet villa getaway at the Westin St John Resort, with a local team ready to answer questions before you book.

For couples in Kelley, a getaway often means leaving the flat farmland and wide winter skies behind for somewhere warm and slow. St. John, in the US Virgin Islands, offers exactly that kind of pace, with a villa rented by the week at the Westin St John Resort giving you room to unwind together. Most visitors reach the island by flying into St. Thomas, then taking a taxi to Red Hook and the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. Once you arrive, remember that driving on St. John is on the left, which is worth knowing before you take the wheel. A commercial autonomous floor scrubber may be the last thing on your mind, but the same care for clean, well-kept spaces is what you will notice throughout your stay.

Planning your trip from Kelley

  1. Getting to the island. From Kelley, most couples fly out of a regional airport to a larger hub, then continue to St. Thomas, airport code STT. From there, a taxi takes you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. Pack light, keep your documents handy, and allow yourselves a relaxed pace on travel day so the arrival feels like the start of the holiday.
  2. Choosing when to leave. Iowa winters are cold, so many couples from Kelley choose to leave during the coldest months, when the islands are warm and the contrast feels especially welcome. Think about what season suits your plans, whether that is calm mornings, quiet evenings, or simply a change of scenery. Your St John Condos contact can help you match the timing to your schedule.
  3. Planning the stay. Because villas are rented by the week, a full seven-day stay gives you time to settle in rather than rush. Decide early how you want your days to feel, whether that means long breakfasts, a slow drive around the island, or doing very little together. Share your plans with the St John Condos team, and they will help you choose a villa that fits.
