Planning Your Escape from Granville
- Getting to St. John. Most travelers from Granville connect through a larger hub and then fly on to St. Thomas, which is the airport you will use for the islands. From there, a taxi carries you to Red Hook, where the passenger ferry runs to Cruz Bay on St. John. Keep your bags light and your plans flexible, since island logistics reward a relaxed approach and a little patience.
- Choosing When to Leave. Iowa winters are at their hardest in the deepest part of the season, so many people from Granville aim to leave once the cold has settled in and the holidays have passed. Think about your own schedule, school calendars, and work commitments before you pick dates. Our team can talk through which weeks suit your household best, and what the island feels like at different times of year.
- Planning Your Stay. Villas are rented by the week, which gives you room to unpack, cook a few meals, and enjoy the grounds at your own speed. Before you book, decide what matters most to you, whether that is a quiet morning on the porch or getting out to the water. If you are planning on a robotic cleaning system or a commercial autonomous floor scrubber for a business back home, that is a separate topic, but for your island week, we will help you match the villa to your needs.
