Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Franklin Park, Florida

St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, and for travelers from Franklin Park, Florida, we can help you plan a quiet week of rest at a villa near the Westin St John Resort. Ask us anything before you commit.

If you live in Franklin Park, Florida, you already know the value of a warm place to slow down. The Gulf Coast and the Atlantic side of the state offer plenty of sunshine, but many people from here find that they want something quieter, with fewer crowds and a slower rhythm. A villa on St. John in the US Virgin Islands can give you that kind of week, with the sound of the sea close by and little on the calendar. The island sits in a warm, tropical climate that will feel familiar to anyone from Florida, though the pace is gentler and the surroundings are wilder. Most visitors reach St. John by flying into St. Thomas and then making their way over, so it helps to think about the trip as a small adventure in itself. Rest comes easier once you have a clear plan, and that is where we come in.

A calm plan for travelers from Franklin Park

1. Getting from the area. Most travelers from Franklin Park fly into St. Thomas, which is the airport code STT. From there you take a taxi to Red Hook and board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Once you arrive, remember that driving on the island is on the left side of the road, so if you rent a car, take a moment to settle in before heading out. Many guests find the transfer part of the journey a relaxing transition into island life.
2. Choosing when to leave. Florida travelers often pick a window that suits their work and school calendars, and the islands are warm through much of the year, so the choice is mostly about crowds and personal preference. If you want quiet streets and a gentler pace, consider traveling outside the busiest seasons. Our team can talk through the options with you so the week you pick feels like the right one for the rest you need.
3. Planning the stay. Villas at the resort are rented by the week, which suits a true unwind better than a quick visit. Think about what you want your days to look like: a slow morning, a swim, a long lunch, and an early night. Tell us what kind of rest you are after and we will help you match your stay to it. Clear expectations before you arrive make a quiet week much easier to enjoy.
