Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Fort Myers Shores, Florida
St John Condos can help Fort Myers Shores travelers planning a week away with friends at the Westin St John Resort. Ask the local team your questions before you book, and they will talk through the villa and the trip with you.
Planning a week away with a group of friends from Fort Myers Shores is different from a couple's getaway. Everyone has opinions about where to sleep, what to eat, and how to split the days, so it helps to have a shared plan before anyone packs a bag. A villa rented by the week at the Westin St John Resort gives a group room to spread out, cook together, and still keep a common home base after a day on the water. Florida friends already know the feeling of a warm, humid climate, but the Virgin Islands bring their own rhythm. Driving is on the left, the pace is slower, and much of the island is quiet and green. Talking through these details ahead of time helps a group decide who drives, who handles the grocery run, and what kind of downtime everyone wants. That conversation is easier when you have someone local to ask.

Getting your Fort Myers Shores group to St. John
- Reaching the island. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Coordinate arrival times with your friends so the group can share a taxi and meet at the ferry together, which keeps everyone on the same schedule.
- Picking your departure window. Think about when your group can realistically leave Florida, since school schedules, work commitments, and everyone's calendars all matter. Settle on a shared date early and let each friend confirm it. A clear plan gives the group time to sort out flights and villa details before the trip gets busy.
- Planning the week together. Once you have a villa booked for the week, sit down with your friends and sketch out the shared pieces: meals, transportation on the island, and a rough sense of which days are for exploring and which are for resting. Keep room for spontaneity. St John Condos can answer questions about the villa itself before you commit, so bring your list.
