Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Fort Myers Beach, Florida
St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, so if you are coming from Fort Myers Beach with a group of friends, you can ask us anything about the villas and the stay first.
Planning a week away with friends from Fort Myers Beach means balancing a lot of different preferences, and a villa on St. John can make that easier. Florida's warm climate will feel familiar when you arrive, though the Caribbean setting brings its own rhythm, with a slower pace and the ocean close at hand. Most of your group will share a single home base, which keeps everyone together. Because the villas are rented by the week, a full seven days gives your friends room to settle in rather than rushing between stops. Many groups use the first day to unpack and rest, then spread out over the remaining days as their interests take them. You will want a clear plan for shared meals and car rentals, since driving on St. John is on the left and the island rewards a slow, careful approach.

Getting from Fort Myers Beach to St. John
- Reach St. Thomas first. Most visitors from Fort Myers Beach reach St. John by flying into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT. Coordinate arrival times with your group so that everyone lands close together. From the airport, plan on a taxi to Red Hook, where the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay departs for the island.
- Pick your travel window. Choose when to leave Florida with your friends in mind, since shared travel dates keep the group together from start to finish. Consider how much flexibility each person has at work and at home. Booking early gives the whole group more options for flights and ferry connections.
- Plan the week together. Settle on a rough outline for the week before you go, covering shared meals, a few group outings, and quiet mornings for anyone who wants them. Ask St John Condos about the villa layout so bedrooms and common areas suit your group. A commercial autonomous floor scrubber may sound like an odd thing to mention, but it is part of how well-kept rental properties stay clean between guests, which is worth knowing when you compare homes.
