Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Ensley, Florida
St John Condos can help friends from Ensley, Florida, plan a week together on St. John, with villas rented by the week at the Westin St John Resort. Ask the local team anything before you book.
Ensley is a city in Florida, in the Southeast, and a group of friends from there tends to think of a week away as a chance to slow down together. St. John suits that kind of trip because the island is small, calm, and easy to settle into once you arrive. A villa gives everyone room to spread out, cook a meal, and gather on the terrace without rushing from one place to the next. Many travelers reach St. John by flying to St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT, and then taking a taxi to Red Hook and the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. Plan that stretch with the whole group in mind, since everyone's bags and timing need to line up. Driving on St. John is on the left, so anyone who rents a car should keep that in mind from the first morning.

Planning your week from Ensley
- Getting to the islands. Start by sketching how your group will travel from the Ensley area to St. Thomas, since that is where most visitors land before the short taxi ride to Red Hook. Compare options with everyone involved, then book the flights together so the group arrives close to the same time. Once you know the arrival day, confirm the ferry plan to Cruz Bay so no one is left waiting on the dock.
- Choosing your season. Florida winters are mild by comparison with the northern states, so many friends from Ensley treat the islands as a warm escape at any point in the year. Think about what matters most to your group, whether that is quieter weather, lively days, or a particular holiday weekend. Talk it over early, because the best dates for a shared villa tend to fill first.
- Planning the stay. A villa rented by the week works well for a group because it keeps everyone under one roof and gives you a shared kitchen. Divide the planning among your friends, with one person handling meals, another handling car rentals, and another keeping the calendar. Send your questions to the St John Condos team before you commit so the details fit your plans.
