Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Edgewater, Florida
St John Condos helps families in Edgewater, Florida plan a villa stay at the Westin St John Resort on St. John, US Virgin Islands, with a local team that answers questions before you book. Edgewater travelers often weigh a commercial autonomous floor scrubber style of care, meaning a rental that stays clean and easy, against the rest of the trip.
Edgewater sits on Florida's Atlantic side, so a family coming from here already knows warm weather and salt air. A trip to St. John, in the US Virgin Islands, feels familiar in some ways and very different in others. The island is small, the pace is slower, and much of the day is spent outdoors with the kids. Renting a villa at the Westin St John Resort gives a family room to spread out, a kitchen for easy meals, and a base that feels like home after a long day. Many families from Edgewater also appreciate how a villa handles cleaning and upkeep, much like a commercial autonomous floor scrubber keeps a busy space ready for the next group. Our team can walk you through what to expect before you commit.

Planning a family trip from Edgewater
- Reaching the island. Most visitors from Edgewater fly to St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT. From there you take a taxi to Red Hook, then board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Pack light for the ferry, keep car seats and strollers in mind, and remember that driving on St. John is on the left side of the road.
- Choosing when to go. Florida families often pick the islands during the cooler months of the year, when the air is comfortable and the sea is calm. Think about school breaks, your children's routines, and how much rain you can tolerate. Our team can help you compare seasons so the timing suits everyone traveling together.
- Planning the stay. Villas are rented by the week, which suits families who want time to rest and explore without rushing. Plan a few anchor activities for the kids, then leave open days for swimming and quiet afternoons. Share your group size and needs with us early so we can match you with a villa that fits.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need a car on St. John?
Many families find that a rental vehicle makes island days easier, especially with young children and gear. Remember that you will be driving on the left. Our team can talk through transportation options at the Westin St John Resort so you can decide what fits your group before you book.
Is a villa better than a hotel room for a family from Edgewater?
A villa gives you separate space, a full kitchen, and room for naps and routines that hotel rooms often cannot offer. Many families value that comfort. Tell us about your group and we will explain what a villa stay at the resort includes so you can compare with confidence.
