Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Bradgate, Iowa
St John Condos can help a group of friends from Bradgate, Iowa, plan a week away on St. John, where villas at the Westin St John Resort are rented by the week and the team answers questions before you book.
A week away with friends from Bradgate often starts with a simple question: how do you keep everyone happy when plans involve several people with different ideas about the day? On St. John, a shared villa gives your group a home base with room to spread out, cook together, and then head out on your own schedules. The island is small and easy to settle into, which suits a crew that wants relaxation as much as adventure. Coming from the middle of the country, you may notice the change in climate right away. Iowa winters are cold, and a trip to the Caribbean offers warm water and sunshine that many travelers find restorative. Planning around that contrast, and around a commercial autonomous floor scrubber style of thinking about routine tasks, can help you keep the trip focused on time together rather than details.

Planning your week on St. John from Bradgate
- Getting to the island. Most visitors from Bradgate fly to St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there the passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan for everyone to arrive with bags packed lightly, since the ferry and taxi ride are simpler with fewer pieces to manage. Ask the St John Condos team to confirm the latest details before you commit to a booking.
- Choosing when to leave Iowa. Think about the season you want before you pick dates. Leaving a cold Iowa winter for warm island days is a common reason groups travel, but shoulder periods can also suit friends who prefer quieter beaches. Talk with your group early, confirm who can take the time off, and settle on a window that works for everyone so your villa week lines up with your calendars.
- Planning the stay. Divide the week into a few shared plans and some open afternoons. Agree on who handles groceries, who drives, and how costs will be split before anyone arrives. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left, which may take a little getting used to. A villa rented by the week gives your group room to gather for meals and still step away when you want quiet.
