Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Beaconsfield, Iowa

St John Condos can help friends from Beaconsfield, Iowa, plan a week away together at a villa on St. John, a Caribbean island in the US Virgin Islands. The team answers questions before you book, so your group can settle the details first.

Beaconsfield sits in the Midwest, where winters are cold and the land is flat and open. For a group of friends who spend most of the year under heavy coats, a week on a warm Caribbean island can feel like a real reset. A villa at the Westin St John Resort gives your group a shared home base, with room to gather in the evenings, cook a meal together, and keep the schedule as loose as you like. The idea of a week away with friends works best when everyone knows what to expect before the trip starts. Talk about who wants quiet mornings, who wants to explore, and how you will split shared costs. St John Condos is a local team that rents villas at the Westin St John, and they can answer questions about the property and the island before anyone commits, which helps a group from Beaconsfield plan with confidence.

Planning a week away from Beaconsfield

  1. Reaching St. John. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Ask your group to share their arrival plans early so everyone can coordinate the taxi and the ferry together. Keep in mind that driving on St. John is on the left, so anyone planning to take the wheel should be ready for that.
  2. Choosing when to leave. Iowa winters are cold, so many friends from Beaconsfield look ahead to the cooler months as a welcome break. Consider the weather you want, the schedules of everyone in the group, and any events back home. Pick a set of dates that works for the most people, then confirm the choice with your friends before you start looking at villas for the week.
  3. Planning the stay. Villas at the resort are rented by the week, which suits a group that wants one shared home. Decide together who handles the booking, how meals will be planned, and what the shared spaces will look like. Make a simple list of must-do activities and leave open time for rest. A clear plan keeps the week relaxed, and the St John Condos team can answer any remaining questions before you book.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to be a certain size to rent a villa with friends?

Villas are rented by the week, so the best fit depends on how many people are in your group and how much space you want to share. Talk through sleeping arrangements and common areas with your friends first. The St John Condos team can explain what each villa offers so your group can choose one that feels comfortable for everyone.

What should a group from Beaconsfield know about getting around St. John?

Driving on St. John is on the left, which may feel unfamiliar for drivers from Iowa. Plan who will drive and how you will move between the resort and the rest of the island. Sharing a single plan with your friends before the trip helps everyone feel ready once you arrive.
