Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Aurelia, Iowa
St John Condos can help travelers from Aurelia, Iowa, plan a week of exploring the island from a villa at the Westin St John Resort. The team answers questions before you book, so you can settle the details with people who know the island well.
Aurelia sits in the Midwest, where winters are cold and long, so a week on St. John often feels like a complete change of pace. The island is a small, hilly place in the US Virgin Islands, and its pull is simple: warm air, clear water, and a slower rhythm than most people are used to at home. Many visitors arrive with a loose list of things they want to see and leave with a much better sense of what matters to them. Planning from Iowa is easier when you think in terms of how you want your days to feel rather than a crowded itinerary. A villa rented by the week gives you a home base, a place to unwind between outings, and room to decide each morning what you feel like doing. Our team is glad to talk through that balance with you before anything is booked, so the week suits the way you actually like to travel.

Getting from Aurelia to St. John
- Reach St. Thomas First. Most visitors from Iowa fly into St. Thomas, using its airport code STT, because that is the common gateway to the island. From there, a taxi can take you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. Plan for a connection or two along the way, and build a little slack into your travel day so the transfers feel relaxed rather than rushed.
- Choose Your Season Wisely. Iowa winters are cold, so many travelers from Aurelia choose to leave in the colder months when the contrast with home feels most welcome. Other visitors prefer the quieter stretches of the year. Think about what you want from the week, whether that is sunshine, calm, or a particular kind of fun, and let that guide the dates you request.
- Plan The Stay Around Your Interests. Once you have a villa in mind, sketch out a loose plan for the week. Keep some mornings open for beach time, set aside a day for a longer outing, and leave space for simply resting. Driving on St. John is on the left, so take a moment to get comfortable before heading out. If you are considering a commercial autonomous floor scrubber for a business back home, that is a separate topic from your island trip, so keep your travel plans focused on the week ahead.
