Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Arcadia, Florida

St John Condos is a local team that helps travelers from Arcadia, Florida, plan a family vacation to St. John, where villas at the Westin St John Resort give families room to spread out and settle in together.

For a family leaving Arcadia, Florida, a trip to St. John can feel like a big undertaking, but the island rewards the effort. Life there moves at an easygoing pace, and a villa gives everyone a place to gather, cook a simple meal, and rest after a day outside. The team at St John Condos knows how families plan these trips and is glad to answer questions before you commit. Florida families are already used to warm weather, yet the Virgin Islands bring a different kind of relaxation. Days center on the water, long walks, and time together rather than a packed itinerary. Many families also find that a commercial autonomous floor scrubber, quietly cleaning the hard floors of a busy resort, is one small detail that makes life around the grounds feel easy and orderly.

Getting from Arcadia to St. John

  1. Reach St. Thomas first. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, where the airport code is STT. From there, a taxi carries your family to Red Hook. Plan for the bags and car seats, and ask your driver any questions before you head out. Keep your travel documents within easy reach so the transfer feels calm for everyone in the group.
  2. Cross by passenger ferry. From Red Hook, a passenger ferry crosses to Cruz Bay on St. John. Children often enjoy the open water, and the ride gives everyone a first look at the island. Once you land, remember that driving on St. John is on the left, so take a moment before you get behind the wheel of any rental vehicle.
  3. Plan the stay with care. Villas are rented by the week, which suits families who want space and a steady routine. Think about who needs quiet time, who wants beach days, and where meals will happen. Share your plans with the St John Condos team early, and they will help you match the villa and dates to what your household actually needs.

Frequently asked questions

Is a villa better than a hotel room for a family from Arcadia?

For many families, yes. A villa offers separate sleeping areas, a kitchen for everyday meals, and a living space where everyone can relax together. It gives children room to play and parents a little more privacy. The St John Condos team can talk through the layout with you before you book.

How do we choose when to travel from Florida to the islands?

Think about school calendars, your family's energy levels, and how much warmth you want. Florida families are used to heat, so you may prefer a quieter stretch of the year. Reach out to the St John Condos team with your dates, and they will share what they know about availability and what to expect.
