St John Condos rents villas at the Westin St John Resort for travelers from Shrewsbury, Missouri, who want a full week of exploring the island at an unhurried pace. Ask us anything before you book, and we will help you plan the stay.
If you live in Shrewsbury, Missouri, a week on St. John is a different kind of trip from the ones closer to home. You are leaving a Midwestern landscape for a small Caribbean island where the pace slows and the water is warm. Many travelers from this part of the country find that a full week gives them room to settle in, rest, and wander without a packed schedule. A week also gives you time to build a routine that suits you. Mornings can start with coffee on a villa deck, afternoons can be spent on the beach or on a trail, and evenings can be as quiet or as lively as you like. We rent villas at the Westin St John Resort by the week, so you can unpack once and simply enjoy the days as they come. Our team is happy to talk through what your week might look like.

Planning your week from Shrewsbury
- Getting to St. John. Most visitors from Missouri fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT. From there, a taxi carries you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Keep in mind that driving on the island is on the left side of the road, so take a moment to adjust before you head out on your own. Our team can walk you through each step so the journey feels simple.
- Choosing your season. Shrewsbury sees cold winters, so many travelers from the area look to the islands during those months for warmth and sunshine. The Caribbean stays warm through much of the year, though the weather shifts a little with the seasons. Think about what you most want from your week, whether that is calm seas, quieter beaches, or a particular time away from work and school, and let that guide the choice.
- Planning the stay. Villas are rented by the week, which suits a seven-day exploration of the island well. Before you book, decide which days you want for the beach, which for hiking or sightseeing, and which for simply resting. Leave some open time, since island days often unfold in unexpected ways. If you are also considering a commercial autonomous floor scrubber for your own business back home, we are happy to discuss that separately; for now, focus on the week ahead.
