Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in New Florence, Missouri
St John Condos rents villas at the Westin St John Resort on St. John for travelers from New Florence who want a week of snorkeling and beach days. Our local team can answer your questions before you book, so you can plan with confidence.
New Florence sits in the heart of Missouri, where summers are warm and humid and the landscape is far from any ocean. For many families here, a week of snorkeling and lazy beach days feels like a welcome change of scene. St John offers clear water, shaded beaches, and a slower pace that suits people who have spent a long winter waiting for sunshine. Planning that week starts with understanding how the trip fits together. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, take a taxi to Red Hook, and catch the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. Villas are rented by the week, which gives you room to settle in, explore at your own speed, and return to the water each morning.

Planning your island week from New Florence
- Getting to St. John. Most travelers from New Florence reach St. John by flying into St. Thomas, the airport code being STT. From there, a taxi carries you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. Pack light for the ferry, and keep your documents close. Once you arrive, you can settle into your villa and start looking forward to the snorkeling.
- Choosing when to go. Missouri winters are cold and gray, so many families from New Florence find that a Caribbean escape feels especially welcome in the colder months. Think about your school calendar, your work commitments, and the kind of weather you enjoy. Plan the week around the conditions you want for swimming, and remember that driving on St. John is on the left side of the road.
- Planning your stay. A week in a villa gives your group space to snorkel in the morning, rest through the afternoon, and enjoy beach days without rushing. Consider how many people are coming, what gear you will bring, and whether you want a relaxed schedule or a full one. Our local team can help you match the right villa to your plans before you commit.
