Commercial Autonomous Floor Scrubber in Maryland Heights, Missouri
St John Condos rents villas at the Westin St John Resort for travelers from Maryland Heights, MO who want a week of snorkeling and lazy beach days, and our local team can answer your questions before you book.
For a traveler from Maryland Heights, a week on St. John often starts with a long wish for warm water and clear days. Maryland Heights sits in the Midwest, where winters bring cold and gray weather, so the idea of spending mornings in the sea and afternoons on sand can feel like a real change of pace. Our villas at the Westin St John Resort are set up for exactly that kind of unhurried week. Snorkeling and beach days work best when the rest of the week stays simple. Plan a few short outings, leave room for naps and long meals, and let the water set the rhythm. Because villas are rented by the week, you can settle in, unpack once, and move between the pool and the shore without rushing. Our team is glad to talk through what that rhythm might look like for your group.

Getting from Maryland Heights to St. John
- Reaching the airport. Most visitors from the area fly into St. Thomas, which carries the airport code STT. Check your itinerary carefully before you leave home, and keep a copy of your bookings handy. Plan your departure from Missouri with a little breathing room so an early connection does not turn into a stressful morning.
- Crossing to Cruz Bay. From the St. Thomas airport, take a taxi to Red Hook, where the passenger ferry runs to Cruz Bay on St. John. Keep your luggage manageable, since you will be carrying it onto the boat and along the dock. Once you arrive, a short ride will bring you to your villa, and you can start thinking about your first swim.
- Choosing when to leave Missouri. Think about the season before you pick your dates. Travelers from a cold northern state often look forward to the warm months most of all, but the Caribbean is pleasant across much of the year. Pick a window that fits your schedule, and avoid stacking your trip against other obligations so the week can feel open and relaxed.
